Thanks everyone for your encouraging replies. I recall during hard times how the replies, the PM were all so helpful. I plan on staying sober forever. This is by choice. The is just much much better this way.
I still travel a lot. Right now I am in Dubai and drinking is not a priority but I do notice things : Dubai Mall (largest Mall in the world) is alcohol free !!Rahul

I am traveling now too and noticing how much better I feel since my last visit to Asia.
I am more comfortable in my own skin, less nervous, less edgy.
Funny because I thought drinking made me more comfortable and gave me confidence. It seems it was just the opposite.
Unfortunately this is something we have to live for ourselves, I would never have believed it. Enjoy Dubai!(AF since 17 May 2014) 2 years 5 months sober

Eloise,
I am a different man after leaving AL. I was chasing the high all the time. It came to a point that I was drinking to feel normal. Now lowest moments in day today like is same as the so called "normal" moments after a drink.
But being a reserved person still struggle to open up with people. I must say I was using that drug for far too long ...
I am now trying to change myself rather than replying on a drug ...
Life just great and now I have new passions like cycling ...Rahul
