To Neo. Day 3 & 4 or when your absolutely struggling

    Hi Neo,
Congratulations on making it to the end of day 3. By now you will want to go down and grab some smokes leading to a possible slip in your alcohol quit. If you give in now and do this is what you will feel like and go back to.

Your throat right down to your stomach will feel like you drank the water out of your last packs butts soaked in water for 24hrs. This will take a day to get over

You will have a mass headache. You won't go out and get jobs done and will stay at home hiding from the world till you sleep in and /or sober up. Maybe a shower or clean clothes and deodorant will hide the fact but underneath you will feel empty inside like a shell of yourself

Why would anyone date an alcoholic? Your red in the face. 1 week off cigs and beer you will have a clearer completion. You can then go and get some decent photos so you have a better chance of meeting someone special

Bashing yourself up. You can't change the past however you will have a stern reminder and ruminate on how poorly you handled yourself. Does this help you over the next week? Is this worth it?

Look at the money your saving. How good does day 3 feel. Yes your thoughts are racing but that fresh air, waking up in the morning without the ashtray smell

To be continued as to lazy ATM to write more after feeling sorry for myself lol

Hi Neo, I can here you from here, you got through day 3, well done your doing well.
The struggle can be so hard in the first week. Day 4 don't listen to that head of yours it will, tell you all sorts of things. It seems like you know so yourself by your post you have posted. Keep safe don't worry about the past, it can't be change , but you can change the now, that is in your control right now. And it is so worth it.
Keep strong hang in there, will look forward to your next post.
