Re: Army June 22
Only time I went to a counsellor was on one of my attempts to become a normal drinker. He also did hypnosis, so I wanted him to magic me normal. Instead he told me how much stress I was under and to make more time for myself. Ffs. That made me feel sorry for myself and a license to drink!AF - July 19th 2015 :happy2:

Good morning everyone
Another miserable one, where is summer? Got the doggies walked down by the river as they will be locked up for a lot of the day. Daughter is picking up her new pony and I am going along for the ride. Was meant to be going west but think it was putting too much pressure on me so decided to wait until during the week as plumber said he would come next week. Going to meet up with crochet ladies and do a hike up here instead. All about balance. Off now to do the dreaded grocery shop.

I did the same. I also went to a CBT session - total bullshit. Had to imagine the glass of red wine and just say 'no' to it or some bollox like that.
I left & went to the Super Valu across the road & thought "it'll take a while to work" - so bought a bottle of red wine - FFS !!!
It didn't work btw.

Things hectic here - I need Jacks to help with the filing. It is getting seriously behind and I have piles of papers sitting around which I dislike. Anyway, can't do everything.
Good news is that younger son has ordered an electric car and it should be delivered next week. Really a smashing car - Skoda Enyaq - very excited about it!! Gas is at an all-time high here - 2.40 euro per litre!! Just outrageous. Seriously don't know how people who only make basic wages can survive in this. Anyway, we have a charger base for the car installed outside our store so he can charge his car and others as well and we get a rebate on the electricity we use. Win, win situation!!
Molls - glad to hear you are settling into your new home. Sounds idyllic. I am hoping to retire next summer and am already planning long lazy walks and exploring more of this beautiful country.
Hope everyone has a smashing day!!
Back to the filing..... :cuss:For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

Re: Army June 22
Morning,
I think they ran out of counselors with me. I did had one who used Russian Dolls..............you know the one where there's a big one and they go down in size. You had to pick one how you felt............then he'd scribble it down in his notes. Never let on why just said a lot of people choose the middle and I was too timid I didn't ask...............then I'd leave straight to the shop and buy a couple of bottles of wine.
Have to say the therapist I saw for my agoraphobia was fantastic. Two hours a session over four weeks and I'm better. That's why I making the most of my gallivanting.
We're off to see The Book of Mormons tonight.
We had our summer last Tuesday.............Mr JC bought me an egg chair for my birthday by the time I'd got comfy the sun had buggered off.It could be worse, I could be filing.
