I'm :new: seeing my doc today and requesting a script for Topomax. The program clearly indicates the dosing up schedule, but doesn't say anything about what happens after 12 weeks. Do you stop the meds completely or is there a weaning process?

kx: I came down slowly off the topa after 14 weeks, came down the same way I went up, then stuck to 25mgs for a couple of weeks then with much trepidation stopped. It worked great for me. People have different experiences with the topa so you will have to see what works for you. (The highest I went was 150mgs) -
