    What Should I do???

    I have three days worth of Topamax left and my next shipment hasn't come in! I ordered it more than two weeks ago and my card has been charged, but it's not here and I'm nervous because it's Friday and Tuesday is Christmas and I'm worried I'm going to end up going off of it cold turkey with a gap in the doses. I take a small dose - just 50 mg daily so maybe it isn't a big deal, but I hate to mess with my chemistry like that. Any suggestions as to what I should do if it doesn't come today or Monday? Someone will have to be here to sign for it too! What a mess. Ordering through the mail has it's down side. I thought I left plenty of time for it to get here. They said allow 14 days for delievery and it's been about 20 days now. Will I be ok to go without it? Then when it gets here should I go right back to 50mg or start at 25 mg again? THANKS!

    Hi Gret,
    I'm sure you will be fine, have you got the other supps ? they should keep you going,
    if topa doesn't arrive try taking half your daily dose, at least it will be in your system.

      By some stoke of luck it came on Friday and my son happened to meet up with the mail carrier at the door! Strange case of events! I'm not usually that fortunate!

              Do you order from River?
              They usually get in there in two weeks - in fact they always have for me, but I have had some close calls also. I always just cut back on dosage to make sure I don't go cold turkey.

              But I'm glad you got it.

                Great end to the potential problem . . . a bit of magic through hopefulness at work . . . and to think you had a network for reaching out in the meantime.

                I expect my next RX from River between Jan 3-7. Yet, I have read that expected DOA is delayed sometimes by weeks. Am curious if that is the typical case for others?

                  What Should I do???

                  There tends to be a hang up somewhere. Once it gets here it's hard to catch someone at home to sign for it! Then they always try to redeliver the next day when it would be easier if they left it at the post office for me to pick up! Frustrating. I didn't order from River Pharmacy this time, I tried someone else. They were about the same time out as River, though.
