SoberBamBam,
I would ask a doctor about Campral and whether you could only take an evening dose. My understanding of Campral and what it might do (even the medical community is unsure of how it works) is that you would still need to take the appropriate dosage for your weight, etc.
Also, you can drink on Campral in the sense that it will not interact negatively, etc. But, why bother with Campral if you are going to keep drinking? It is a drug intended for those attempting to go AF.
Naltrexone may be a drug you might want to consider if you want to continue to drink.
I would definitely get RJ's book and read it, if I were you.
A person attempting to change to moderate drinking is recommend to start out with at least a 30 day AF period. I have read this recommendation other places, too.
However, I do want to say :welcome: and I hope you do find a good path to follow that leads to your desired goals.
