Topa and tingling
I've read some things about topamax and tingling in extremities. For the past several weeks I've had a strange numbness, but not in overall extremities. The pinky and side of my left hand are numb, almost like they were on novacaine or I hit my funny bone. It's constant, from the time I wake up until the time I fall asleep, and it never goes away. Is this the typical "tingling" side affect I read about with topa? Localized to one, and only one finger, and chronic? In the last few days it seems to be spreading into my ring finger as well. Any advice, anyone? I need that finger to play my guitars!!!:band2:"uch: When you kick youreslf in the butt, all you get is a sore butt and a tired foot"Tags: None

Topa and tingling
Iowegian-
I don't have any experience with Topa, but I was on cymbalta for a relatively short period of time, and it did the same thing.... on the other hand (ha ha), my right arm was all tingling about 2 years ago, and my friend referred me to a chiropractor- sure enough, my back was out of alignment and was putting stress on some nerves... "adjusted" it and it went away...
Anyone else?

Topa and tingling
Iowegian....
I got the same sort of sensation, but down my foot into my pinky toe??? I think it is common. What dose are you on and when are you taking your doses?
I now take all my doses at once in the evening at about 4-5pm. I have never drank during the day and so this works perfect for me. I now don't have any fogginess during the day and any other symptoms may occur, but I am asleep...

Topa and tingling
It's still difficult for me to figure out what's going on. I haven't upped my meds. I'm in a stressful situation and sometimes when I up the dose it will cause me to become weepy. So I'm holding off. However, I'm now wondering if I'm getting a little hair loss. But, I don't know. The tingling I've had... but I broke my neck 15 years ago... so I've been used to that off and on all my life. I have no idea if it's the Topa or sometimes I just move my neck and shoulder around and see if I can loosen up a few joints. And the foggy stuff is better. Drinking is better but I need to work harder.Sunny Out Looks are Contagious!
