Hi,
I take it too, usually it takes about a week to get into your system start with 2 and increase if necessary up to 800-1000mg (careful make sure you're not bipolar) can make you crazy manic if you are.

I know SAM-e is incredibly expensive and have come upon an amino acid called TMG ( Trimethylglycine). This is the precursor to SAM-e and I think it is more economical ? 180 caps of 450mg for approx. US$17. Approx. 1000 ? 3000mg TMG required to raise SAM-e ? vitamins B3, B5 & B6 and folic acid assist in the facilitation of this amino acid.

I don't take it myself, so the quantities are not from experience.
