Hey there!!!

Has anyone had any experience of ordering Topa online and had it sent to Canada? I reside in Canada, and wow, is it ever taking a long time! I have ordered now on 2 sites, River Rx, Sept 25th, and I ordered eshopRx Oct 3rd. The River Rx is in Canada, according to the shipping tracker, however, being inspected by Customs. As for the eshopRx, it is still 'In Process'. I received an email saying the payment was accepted, but nothing....

All I want is my Topa.......

Any comments much appreciated!!!!

I live in Canada and have ordered from eshoprx many times. Lately my shipments have not gotten through customs. ihave been trying to get my topa since June 24! They have just reshipped for the third time. I am not sure what the problem is it gets to customs but does not make it through. I wish us both luck.

My eshoprx Topa order came into the US with no problems. Maybe you can have a Yank accept it and send it to you from here (can't be me- sorry).

Hi Christy,

When I lived in Vancouver I ordered Topa from River Pharmacy and it arrived just fine (I was also worried it would get held up in customs) though it did take like 10 days, so be patient.

If you haven't taken it before you will need patience as it will take a while to work!!! I know its hard when you want to stop drinking NOW but you might want to go ahead with the other parts of the program while you're waiting for your Topa.

I myself have started the Topa slowly as I could really feel some of the symptoms, so I've only dosed up when those subsided. Its been 6 weeks and I'm only up to 75 mgs a day. Sometimes it helps with the drinking but when I'm really stressed it doesn't. My symptoms have included dull headache, dizziness, tingling in hands, feet & face (though not too bad) and occasional loss of words.

Remember, there's no magic pill! Good luck and keep the faith.

I ordered from River Pharmacy and it arrived about 2 weeks later. Customs was no problem. Unfortunately, the Topa did not agree with me and I had to stop taking it.

Just remember, don't put all your hopes and faith in this drug, there is no miracle cure for problem drinking, you have to really, really want to stop, or nothing is going to help. Good luck, and let us know how it works for you.

Hi Christy, I'm fairly new to this site and just posted a thread about Topa to Canada and then read further and found yours. Oops. Have you gotten yours yet? Why do you think they hold it up at customs? I travel so much, I would hate to have my ability to cross the border hindered in any way because of a pharmacy order. Walt

Hi looking to grow... thanks. Yuck though. It's been a help to so many others here I can see. Wonder what it will look like on my mantle when and if it finally does arrive! Hope (high hopes albeit) to be 6 weeks without alcohol by then but; this cold turkey is a more than a little scary. walt

Well, I ordered it Sept 25th from River....nothing yet...they have resent it....so we will see. As for eshopRx....ordered it Oct 3rd, nothing from them yet either.

So far I have done 20 days without it, but I was really hoping that I would have it to help over the rough times. I only wanted to do it temporarily so I can get some AF time under my belt....seems I didn't give myself enough credit for my strength...lol.

That's great Christy! You are strong! I hope I can follow in your footsteps... maybe we'll both have bottles of Topamax as mantle decorations! I never looked but is there such a thing as canceling an order with River Rx maybe?
