I do not remember the page number but you start off with 25 mgs at night then 25 morning then next week, 25 morning 50 night, then next week 50 morning 50 night....you keep going up in 25 mg increments until you stop craving...for me it is 200 mgs...I take 100 morning and 100 evening...do what works for you some can not do this, some can not take topa due to side-effects...see what your system can take...

I have had more success taking it in early evening than at bedtime. When I did bedtime I was zonked the next day. I now take it before dinner.

hm. okay. i am concerned about the side effects.
the idea of 'searching' for words is something i've already experienced on other meds and it is not a welcomed idea.
and being more tired than i already am doesn't seem like a great idea either.
who knows though maybe i will be okay... or the side effects will subside?
it is not a great time to experiment to be honest.
i quit cold turkey the last time completely on my own. now i just take 5-htp. anyhow, thanks for your replies.
