Kudzu question
IMO Kudzu builds up on your system. To build, take two pills twice a day every day for a week. To maintain about half that dose works. Last time I quit, it took more than 10 days and I could still "feel" the effects. So IMO Kudzu has a "half-life" of about five days. It builds slow, and dissipates slow.
This opinion is based on my feel of it. It's hard to feel Kudzu. But two things I find obvious. 1) when I drink, there's no kick, and also much less of a "hangover" or energy lag the day after. 2) My libido suffers and I lack interest in sex. The latter is not uncommon for me as SSRI's and Claritin give me the same problem.
I went off of Kudzu for a while, and then obtained some old habits. For now I'm back on. It seems much less harmful than a cold pill. And I feel that it does a great deal to mediate the neurotransmitter levels to assist me in level moods while my body and brain cope with being Alcohol Free.

Kudzu question
I take Kudzu daily, but I do vary on the amount I take (if I'm having bad cravings, like when I'm upset or stressed I'll take 2 pills up to 3 times a day, other days, I might just have 2 or 4 pills a day). I believe it has helped me out with cravings. It works a lot better for me than Campral did, I can say that for sure! Plus it's not going to hurt you and has tons of other health benefits besides just craving control.sigpicAstro:new:

Kudzu question
I'm a weekend binger too
I think it's VERY short-acting like 4 hours and it's a total waste of money (for me) to take it Mon thru Thursday.
I think you should treat it like Motrin and a headache - stay ahead of the pain. So DO THE max ALL DAY on YOUR BAD DAYS. It's hard to remember to take pills all days
good luck!

Kudzu question
My experience with kudzu is that it works great the day you take it, so if you know you are going to drink or be tempted, then take it in the morning (I take 3 pills around 10 a.m.) and then again in the p.m. -- and the result will be a lower desire to drink and higher effect of alcohol.
I do not find that taking it constantly helps any more than taking it on an as-needed basis. In fact, I have found the effect to wear off when I take it all the time.
But each person is different. I think you have to experiment to find what works best for your body.Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
