Topamax Interactions

I originally posted this on the Holistic site with no reponse and decided I put it on the wrong board....apologies.

I would like to ask a question regarding taking Topamax. I know your are not MD's (although there may be some in the crowd or nurses?) anyways, I'm sure your personal experience and knowledge through research and you experience taking Topamax can give me some guidelines.

I take Caduet, for blood pressure & cholestral, Nexium for Barretts Esophgus, Zoloft for depression and a water pill (can't recall the name) for BP also. To anyone's knowledge would Topamax interfere or cause any serious interactions with the above meds? I know my best course of action would be to go to the dr but was interested in your experiences?

Hi Goldie, I take a BP medication and Synthroid for thyroid and have had no problems with the Topamax. You might also want to log into webmd or another site like that and read up on what others say about drug interactions. Also LTG has good advice about asking your local pharmacist.
