Itching on Topa

I wonder if anyone else gets intense skin itching with Topamax. I started getting it when I upped the dose to about 150mg but funnily enough it stopped on the top dose (300) only to return when I came back down to about 200mg. I still get it when I get hot even though I haven't taken it for 3 months.

I only had itching under my feet which was more annoying than anything else. It dissapeared after about a week or two though -- have you chatted to a Doc about it? 3 months is a long time, surely the Topa is all out of your system by now?

Thanks for your comments - perhaps it's a good idea to check with the doctor, I suppose it could be something else!

Itching on Topa

I juat started the topa yesterday of 25 mg., and 25 mg. today.
I'm got intense skin itching today. I'm petite..only 96 lbs.
Maybe the 25 mgs. is too much for me to start at?
Also, man! How could it woek so fast?
I poured myself a drink, took 2 sips, and have no interest in it at all.
In facy I poured myself a glass of milk instead & enjoyed it a lot more.
But I'm still itching (and also feel a little spacy).
I'll be interested in hearing others experiencences & reactions.

Menopause? oh my lord. I am 52 and itching to beat the band. No sooner do I scratch one place then I have to start on another. I am going through lotion like a fiend! I figured it was winter skin, but it's really intense! Thanks for the heads up!
