About Time
It is not unusual for drinking to go up in the first few weeks, there are a couple of theories for this- one being that we are finally giving ourselves 'permission to drink' instead of staging the "Will I, won't I" scenario in our heads that most of us have been doing for years.
The second theory is that because the Nal is blocking the endorphins, we chug it back even harder trying to get the rush.
I imagine it is a mix of both reasons that many people do find their drinking goes higher than ever over the first few weeks, so do not be disappointed if this happens, it is quite normal, you should then find your drinking gradually tapering off.
Remember the method does take about 4 months, it took us a long time to get where we are, and it takes a while to 'unlearn' our drinking too.
