Still no news. I'm trying, on many fronts. Could we please just keep it on this thread instead of starting yet another? People seem to be finding it just fine. I think it would add to the stress as some would post here and some there, etc. Besides, we are sort of guests here now (even though many are "old" members) and using an established thread seems better form. I'm grateful we have a place to meet up as I get this sorted out. I'm doing everything I can.

Lena, I had already posted a thread, but went back and edited the content to just point people back here. If there is a way to delete a thread that someone knows, just PM me and I will do so...Thank you for the update.
This lapse in TSM has really been refreshing(?) for me...I have forgotten how much I miss MWO and will likely be more than a brief returning member here.

Yeeha!!!
I am sure our site will be fixed shortly.
Update for me: I had an AF day yesterday (2nd consecutive) and for some reason I have gone back into "sweaty mode" with a persistent headache and restless sleep again since Saturday, which was my last Nal day to date. I'm gonna try another AF day today with no Nal and see what happens.

Guys and Gals - I am SO sorry we're having problems with the site. I just found out this morning(thanks Lena) and I'm working to try to find the issue. I'm afraid I also have to work so it might take a bit. Please be patient with me!
Thanks!

TSM message board withdrawals/update
OK, I've been "lurking" over here, just waiting for the TSM site to get back to running but after 3 days am getting antsy! Well I guess I was having a "honeymoon" my first couple of weeks on nal. During that time I would have one drink and have no interest in a second one, which last happened in '80. Yesterday, I had a glass of wine and had that "warm" feeling that tells me I want more. I drank a lot last night as GF and I went out to a couple of bars and to hear music. The good news is that even when I binge on naltrexone, I don't get sloppy drunk; I don't blackout conversations; I take some time between drinks and don't obsess over how many sips are left in the beer. So that's a lot of progress as I head into week 4. But my fantasy that I was "cured" after two weeks was definitely a fantasy. I MISS OUR BOARD! I'm like a lab rat now, futilely hitting the TSM icon on my "favorites" only to see a white screen! Soon all of my good feelings about going there will be extinguished! Hope it's back soon!

hello exiled tsmers
Hello there Bob, happy and all tsm gang in exile !
Ah ha so here you are !
It could be quite normal that RV9 took off for a couple of days . In fact just before it all went dark and white I posted to ask him how he was as it had actually been quite a good while since he'd posted at all , so I do hope he is in fact ok .
I'm generally ok looking at it with an overview on a week and even the last few .
Although I was a bit puzzled by my behviour one day , lunchtime drinking has become pretty rare for me but if it does happen it's not a good outcome . In fact I did today too
and now the evening has come I'm not too keen to re drink and reckon I'll get away with just a little and loose interest .
See you soon .

Nick & Elf - Hello!
I don't feel in Exile, I feel like we are visiting back home after being away for intense study : ).
Nick - I'm sorry about the honeymoon -- I was afraid that was going to happen...but good news is those with a honeymoon seem to have quicker results down the line -- we must be more sensitive to the medication or something so it seems we spike down, then up and then down again while others just remain steady throughout and have a very subtle decline. I like being a spiker. It's a bit scary when you go up but you know there is a downhill ride coming up soon.
Elfern - how is the ankle? Are you going out for lunchtime then (getting around) - I forget if you were off Nal or able to be on it with your injury (if off, then that may be a factor, right?).
Glad to see everyone here...

still on Nal
Ok, happy I guess you know MWo longer and better than me .
well , I'm very glad to see it and will get familiar .
Still on NAl with the ankle , never went off it .
rarely go out and never for lunch til today ! But that's ok , it's a slippery situation
but I think they have to be confronted , at any rate it prooved much less hazardous than before . I think this is important to reduce but not ban situations and with time they are becoming less problematic but it's true lunchtime drinking is a bit scary .
So faith in tsm and sensible effort too . I believe you've seen the need for that too these last few weeks. All the best .

On the way home, my heart was racing, I was sweating with the A/C on high, my mind was racing, and a numbness came over me. I felt it best to continue with the Nal just so I can get rid of this unwanted energy. I have taken all my anxiolytic meds for the day, but they are not having much affect. So, to extinction I go. One of these days, I'm going to have a beer or two and say I feel better, I don't want anymore. I have had those glimpses of the future just weeks ago, but none in the last week. I'll see how it goes today.

Strictly Sinclair: Naltrexone Done Right
First Evening on Natrexone
Well, finally today I got my first ever order of Naltrexone, two months worth.
Will never ever order from the site again, that I used, www.privatepharmacy.eu - took four weeks to come and only after about five emails, phone calls from London to the West Indies (I think) and my husband yesterday threatening them with sending the police to their London "office", so a day after that it actually got here. Unbelievable! Do not use them!!!
But, apart from raging on about this scummy site, I just wanted to announce my first evening on Naltrexone. I took half of a 50mg tablet this evening, one hour before my first glass of wine, as I am supposed to according to instructions outlined in the book by Roy Eskapa.
I was quite excited about starting the Sinclair method, until my husband made a comment about drinking while trying to cut down.....
Oh well, I am at the end of the line here, can't get any worse, so I might as well go for it for the next six months or so....
Good Night to all!
