Hello From Texas cowgirl. Today I started anabuse my Dr.says to 500 mg for two weeks. Than take 250 for a month. Is that alot?? I just don't want to drink any more...I drink 24/7..And I hope anabuse will help me..He also gave me chlordiazepoide for withdrawls.When do you have withdrawls?????:thanks::thanks:

Try this thread out as it will give you lots of advice on Antabuse/disilfiram from people like myself who have taken it in the past.
Can't help you with the chloradiazepoide question though. I was a heavy binge drinker and I was almost self detoxing in between binges. I would imagine that if you are on day 1 with the antabuse you would of had to have had an abstinence period before you took it. Are you experiencing any kind of withrdrawel syptoms at present?
