Well, part of what helps me get better, is helping others get better as well. So I have gained sobriety by helping you and makes me feel good. I am incorporating many all strategies in my effort to go from, drinking myself to death in the dark, to helping others march down the hill. With Baclofen, progress is downhill in a good sense.
I am working on a construction project using Baclofen to change a person's life. I work in heartdisease but it is similar. I can use what I tell patients to do and strategies to utilize their life with baclofen with my knowledge and expertise. I am the man who knew too much
WOW Bill, I can sure relate to that statement !!!
It is so much a part of what has helped me to heal as well !!!

I was so exited about how different I felt when I first took Baclofen that I wanted to shout it from the ROOF TOPS !!!
I came by the book "End of my Addiction" .....by what seems like Divine order. I was in a bookstore in the self help department and literally TRIPPED over the book, as it was laying on the floor.
I had been trying topamax, campral and natural supplements and getting some results but still having cravings that I had to fight (mind, body and soul) !!!
B what I found with Baclofen is that it took that "burden" away ........completely !!! Amazing to me !!!
I then went on a personal mission to send out books to those who seemed to be on the verge of giving up !!! I just HAD to let them KNOW that there is hope !!!
I wish to GOD I knew how many of those people where happily sober today ???
I lost the list of address of names and address, a few months ago when my PC (sparky) died and went to computer heaven ...GOD rest his soul (he was very dear to me).......LOL

The world is a better place cause you are out there in a GREAT POSITION to spread the word !!!
I felt like a failure and a SAD excuse for a human being and NOW ...Well now I feel a sense of "purpose" I now feel there IS A REASON a real PURPOSE for the fact that I have the disease of alcoholism !!!
I hope you have some kind of sense of that in your life ???

Bill I saw your very thorough post on the Liver Function thread and had a quick questioon for you:

From what I gather from your post, if you have normal range LFTs, you will most likely be in Child Class A.

However, being in Child Class A does not mean that your liver isnt damaged, it just means that it is functioning despite the damage.

      Is that correct?

      Thanks

          Dear Bill
I'm so glad that the shut out was a mere misunderstanding. I must admit that I am a radical alkie. I refuse to hide in dark rooms to J'accuse Moi. The disease is far too prevalent and destructive to be left to the psyche merchants and self seeking religious nutters. We are on the verge of a breakthrough here. We all must "out" ourselves and insist on serious action being taken. If we do, we may be the last generation to suffer through this insidious and humiliating affliction.
