I meant no humiliation or offense. I did intend some good-natured ridicule of a DEA Schedule 1 (the most illegal in USA) drug. From reading about its traumatic and dangerous effects which you paint in rosy hues, a bit of warning off of it is in order.

Dont leave the thread. Everyone is interested to hear how everyone on Bac is doing. Everyone's story is a new and valuable piece of the puzzle.

That being said, please stick to discussion about Bac on this thread. You should start a new thread about Ibo.

Don't leave. I have been flamed on in the past and it just happens. Let it roll off your back. Not easy for us drinkers, though, I know that.

I do think you should post another thread about Ibogaine, but as Bernard does rightly point out, this drug is not acceptable in the US. It is a hallucinogen, which for me is scary stuff. It falls into the category of LSD or Peyote...

Please let us know how the Baclofen is working for you, though. I think the more that post positive or negative adds to the body of knowledge.

While agree that Bernard could have found a more "pleasant" way of voicing his scepticism regarding Ibo, he is a frequent poster and has always seemed like a very decent guys; so I think we should cut him some slack.

I guess it can be described as nasal congestion. Whatever it is...I'll take it. It was great to go to bed without having a drink. My husband was having his nightly wine and I was not interested at all. 3nights in a row. It's a freakin miracle.

Anne, while that is not a treatment I would choose, I think it is very interesting. I agree that starting your own thread on Ibogaine is a good idea.

I second Cinders comments and especially encourage Anne to start a thread on this and re-post all the YouTube links, so that it will all be in one place and readily visible to anyone interested. As it is now, nobody interested in Ibo would know to go to the middle of the Bac Progress thread to find it out.. which would be a shame, and a waste of your efforts, Anne.

As for the bernard response, I also have found him to be a reasonable guy and a valuable poster here, and I do believe he did not intend to ridicule Anne (although I agree it reads that way!). I think he made a misstep by not realizing the effect his comments would make. I also think he thought himself humorous, and did not anticipate the scathing impression his remarks would make.

I hope you both will put this behind you and continue to contribute in the rational and thoughtful way we are used to.

And again, I really urge you, Anne, to consolidate your Ibo research and experience into a separate thread.

This is worrisome to me. Has it taken anyone else 41 days to receive their order from 4rx. I think it took my last order 21 days.

Well. I just needed to post this. Yesterday I got my doctor's new script filled and am taking Baclofen from a US pharmacy in total.

The effects seem to be a bit more pronounced than the online pharmacy's Baclofen. (I got mine for 4rx.com.) 130 mg/day kicked my hiney.

I am going back down to 120 mg/day.

I am still AF and loving it!!

Well I was all psyched up and ready to order after lurking on these threads for quite a while. I called 4rx, they don't ship to Canada. I tried to place an order online at River Pharmacy and they will only take orders from Canada by phone and I had to leave a message! Obviously something is afoot with shipping to Canada. Not looking good.

Cindi, I suppose it makes sense that different generics of baclofen might be slightly different in effectiveness as I have had that happen with other generics vs. the brand name. But so far I think they are all working, so they do have the main ingredient. Although it might be interesting to have those who have had some of the more serious side effects report on which brand they were on. So glad you are still finding it easy to be AF. And Shelby, good going on 3 nights AF. I'm also 3 nights Af and going for 30 days as I titrate up to my switch. When it is out of sight it is mostly out of my mind. Had a small pull last night as dh had a glass with dinner - but fortunately was a wine that is not my favorite so easily resisted.
Wally, I think there are a couple people in Canada that managed to get meds into Canada, maybe from In House? I bumped up Lusus' thread on ordering on line yesterday, which has all info on it. I hope you are able to work it out. An increasing number of people are also finding their dr. cooperative if they give them Dr. A's book or other info. As for the length of time things are taking, I think it is mostly due to customs.
