Hiya, XS. And welcome. I didn't know where to respond to your queries about online ordering.

It's not controlled. It's easily imported. If they happen to check your package, and decide you shouldn't receive it, they take it. They don't come to your door. Apparently there are a whole bunch of people here (in the U.S.) buying stuff from Canada...Caused our pharmaceutical companies enough worry to get the politicians involved a while back. :H

I only ordered once online, but from what I gather you just have to order more. Maybe the online pharmacy will send you more? I'm not sure.
You might want to give the good doctor a call either way. You can find his info on the Doctors that prescribe bac thread. I think it's in the link in my signature.

I do not love the idea either. But I can't be choosing between food and baclofen. At least two people here have taken it and it worked. I wonder how bad it will taste.

The phrase "not intended for human use" or "not intended for human consumption" and the fact that it is intended for research only is a loophole that a lot of companies use to sell medication to consumers that would otherwise be illegal, or at the very least require a prescription in the US. I'm not saying that this is what this specific company is doing, but it is done.

I am sure it's fine but I'm not going to vouch for anyone here.

It's not that great of a price. 20mg x 100ml? We're missing a variable here. I'm going to assume it is 100ml that contains 20mg of baclofen for every 1ml of solution. That's a big assumption so check that out because you've got the bottle in your hands.

If so that's 2000mg of baclofen. Goldpharma is a source that all of us who've used them have come to trust (I believe). You can get a box of 100 25mg pills for $56ish dollars (Neuraxpharm brand baclofen from Goldpharma). Shipping is like 18 or 25 or something to the states but if you're going to try the baclofen route, you're going to need a lot, so get like 4 boxes for $240ish dollars and you'll have 10,000mg for $240.

That's 48 cents for a 25mg pill versus $1+ for a 20mg drop of liquid.

Heck, that even rivals Walgreens with a script in my area. I seriously think they caught wind of something and jacked up their prices, last I checked it was about 50 cents a pill. I remember checking over a year ago and it was like 20. Same with WalMart. Capitalism rulez!! Err...


edit: Goldpharma's "Prescription fee" is $8.40 and their shipping is $11.91. Their shipping is fantastic for a foreign country btw, no tracking at all but I'll be damned if I didn't get 90% of my packages in 7-11 days from Germany to California. They are the only international pharmacy I know of that has somehow found a loophole so that their packages are not inspected by US Customs!

I just love how OC we get with stuff like this. I've always ordered from www.alldaychemist, and now I find out that I was paying $.03/pill more than necessary. Oy vey!

After almost 2 years into successful use of baclofen, I'm well-supported by a mega-prescription from Dr. L. (I wonder, does he ever wonder, "is she STILL taking 300 mg/day?") I don't, but I just keep adding to the stock. I also have a script for 80 mg/day from a local doctor. And I have "medical" evidence that there is no harm from long-term, fairly HDB. However it makes sense to you to buy and try, I heartily suggest it.

I never read it. I didnt do any research before starting. I am not sure if there is advice in the book regarding how/when to take bac, but there is plenty on these boards! Just remember, there is no medical advice here, just personal experiences.

I just wanted to add that I can confirm 4RX.COM and Aclepsa are in fact the same company. I ordered from both and they are having problems with shipping at the moment. Anyway, the guy on the live help dealt with both my orders there and then. The brand Aclepsa delivers though is called Fexobac, but has done the trick for me.

Just thought i'd let you know. Have you noticed a lot of the online pharmacies are down at the moment. A bit worrying, but hopefully all will return to normal soon.

hey everybody, you really gotta be careful once you get up over 100mg for a couple months that you have enough to effectively come off it! It is really scary to be up this high and not sure whether or not you can have enough to come back down. Some of the side effects I have experienced with trying to come off of it is extreme anxiety, muscle spasms, and difficulty breathing. On a positive note, this stuff works wonders for craving. It is the ultimate anti craving agent. However, It is extremely scary to be worried about having enough.

Hi All. I've become very interested in trying a "BAC" regime. I have tried most everything except inpatient as I am concerned about my job. I go to counseling, did Naltrexone, Campral, herbals, hypnotism. You name it. I'm ok with ordering online and have looked at a couple sites. I am holding off for the moment as I will be away over the holidays in a bad place (Vegas to visit family). Can't wait to see if I hold it together there.
I am not comfortable going back to my regular doc who has given me Naltrexone and Campral. He has "gone off" on me before and I am not sure he gets how hard this can be. I have a hard time admitting to my psych (who costs me a fortune) that I am off the wagon.
I would love to find an understanding doc but I am in Colorado (not Denver) and I am not sure of my options. I want to try Baclofen but would prefer going through a doc. Please let me know any suggestions. I am open at this point. I am not falling off a cliff but I am not making much progress either.

Dr. L was a great option for me, since my Doctor wouldn't go above 100 mg a day. With the Walgreen's card 566 10 mg pills came to less than $35.00, Wow!!! :H The second cheaptest option is the liquid baclofen I think.

Another mistake is I was taking it in only two doses a day, Dr. L had me switch to 3 doses a day and at the same dose all my sides are gone.

I've had a rough go this past year. I went off Baclofen for 24 hours, took a whole day's dose at once to make up for it, then went off it for another 24-36 hours to get over those nasty effects. Ended up in the hospital, which did nothing for me. Moral of the story NEVER GO OFF baclofen abruptly.
