Cravings definitely muted. I had work to do till about 9pm and the nagging thoughts were there as I got closer to 9pm but on my way home I thought "I could go home without stopping to pick up beer at the gas station". That hasn't seemed to be an option that crossed my mind since 1997-ish.

Of course I did stop, and did drink, but it felt more out of habit than compulsion. At this point I'm convinced It will work... just need to keep going.

And yes... I always have some level of tremors every day when I drink my normal amount the night before. It's mostly noticeable in my hands and though I notice it all the time it's only been spotted by other people a few times. Those few times have been horribly embarrassing... the few times I have cut way back on my alcohol intake the tremors go away... so I know it will subside when I'm AF.

and I'm glad the goofy name I chose is mildly amusing.. besides... I'm pretty sure panda's fart. And I'm pretty sure it's funny.

yeah it is funny and really would be funny if you ever had the luxury of hearing a Panda Fart!

Sounds like your doing really well, and I wish you the best of luck. Im currently at 70mg, still drinking, still suffering nasty side effects, and terrible terrible hangover, but I have hope it will work, as it has for so many others on this site.

cravings greatly diminished.. went to baseball game
had only 1 16oz beer.. did not get another (could be because they were $7.50)

one 12oz with diner had craving for more but didn't have any

one 24oz later that night

craving is still there but was far more muted than ever before.. i felt like i could easily abstain if i wanted to.

side effects at this dose:
slightly alarming lack of balance... felt like i was close to falling over a few times but nothing i couldn't handle.

beer has definitely changed taste. it's hard to explain but it's like it tastes like it did when i first started drinking... kinda nasty as opposed to good / comforting... had to actively try to finish them.

so far so great.. i think with a little effort and a little higher dose i'll easily be able to abstain.

the taste thing is really odd. i love the taste of newcastle.. it's one of my favorite beers but it tasted like ass.

still have the dizziness but all in all side effects are minimal.

very strange shooting electrical like feelings in both my hands .. where it feels like i lose grip control of my hands for just a second... but over and over. while driving home my hands would periodically let go of the steering wheel for a split second.

very disconcerting and it's still happening... makes it difficult to type

and i'm going to take 30mg in a minute.

the hand thing happened the 1st and only time I took 40mg all at once.

I felt the hand thing a bit this morning but it's completely gone now.

craving low but still there. (I kinda feel like I could easily go AF if I wanted to... I just kinda don't want to yet... almost like breaking up with a really bitchy girlfriend everyone hates but you still have feelings for.... der...so the physical craving is way lessened but the psychological urge isn't so much)

PF...good analogy about the bitchy girlfriend. I guess I feel the same way that AL is the abusive boyfriend that I still have feelings for...go figure. The feelings are getting weaker and weaker everyday I get stronger.

I bought one of the kits and this is day for one for me. I don't want to give up drink I just want to be able to control it. I am 36 and have been drinking every night for the last probably 3 years. With the exception of a two week break last year when I was unwell and did not want to drink at all.

I am fine when I am out socially its just when I get home on my own that my drinking is uncontrollable. It does not affect the rest of my life work etc.

I don't know if anyone can answer this but I had childhood epilepsy and am not sure if I can use the hypnotherapy cd any advice would be greatly received.

still muted cravings but my switch is definitely not off. absolutely no side effects. the dizziness from the previous days has all but vanished.

I don't know anything about epilepsy but you may want to post those questions as a topic out where everyone can see it.
