Baclofen crashed and mixed with food effectiveness

Hi all,

I have the following question:

The result of lets say 50 mg of baclofen crashed and mixed with foom is the same as taking baclofen pill directly by mouth ?

If no there should be taken more mg ( e.g 70 ) to have the sam effect as 50 but taken by mouth?

The pill crached and mixed has any effect, meaning the small powder of baclofen.

I think perhaps people are uncomfortable posting on a subject that appears to be on how to give someone bac without their knowledge. I'm not saying that is your intent but it was my first thought when I read it.

If the intent is to give without consent, this is illegal, also unlikely to work as sometimes medicines work because we want them to.

I think to give it without consent would be very dangerous- I feel quite strange even after taking 10mg still- if someone were to slip me 50mgs I think the effects would be enough for me to call an ambulance...that could of course lead to legal investigations if the drug was administered without consent.

If it is just that you would prefer to take it with food and wonder if you should take a bigger dose I guess it is a case of trial and error.

I agree with Marbella. But I didn't actually think you intended to give it without consent-- I just didn't read it that way, but I can see how someone might get that impression.

Assuming you are thinking you would rather take it crushed in food because you can't or don't like to swallow pills, I think the Bac will have exactly the same effect as if you take it whole. There is no recommendation that it be taken between meals or on an empty stomach, and in fact many people, probably most people, take it with meals. The only possible difference I can think of is that it might take effect more quickly when crushed than as a whole pill, since it will be absorbed more quickly.
