Good for you BH, I'm very proud of you. It's such an achievement.

I have set a date of Jan 1, 2010 to get myself into gear. No point trying over the festive season, as I am going to try and do this drug free - hard to get meds in Aust and Im not sure about receiving them through the post.

I gave up smoking two years ago on Jan 1, so I want to continue the trend, makes it easy to remember too.

          Irish Proverb

"May the road rise up to meet you,
may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand."

Continual cheerfulness is a sign of wisdom.
              Irish Proverb

It was a saying hung on the walls of my devoutly Irish Catholic grandmum. She was born and raised in Ireland and it never left her.
The other saying hung on a plate in her cottage was "May you be in heaven, one half hour before the devil knows you are dead!" lol. Decorated with 4 leaf clovers.
I find alot of cheerfulnes reading Irish proverbs, I figure being on an island, you can get cynical real fast without them
Cheers and Darwin, oh my, Ive always wanted to visit Darwin, had a pharmacist friend there. Just whinged and whinged about it but it seems like a wonderful place to visit. Australia would be a hell of alot funner if I could fly a plane
