Took the Nal. Finished the bottle, about 3 glasses. I did drink slower than usual, but I felt like I could of drank more if I would of had it, but I was not going out to get any. I'll be going for AF tonight.

Yeah, I was one that would have one or two glasses of wine out with friends or colleagues, then come home and drink more. I hate that I do that and I always hate the day after.

Anyway, AF and exercise last night and I'm feeling great!

Yeah I am actually heading back to DC for the big storm to hang with friends and do some skiing and have a deal to work on there...

Imagine when Naltrexone works for you bigtime...no more Home Inspections with a hangover...that was HELL..LOL

Ok, last night was not a good one....I took the Nal and I knew I was going to have some wine. It went down slow, but I still finished the bottle. I feel really groggy and foggy this a.m. I can usually drink a bottle of white wine and still feel somewhat ok in the morning....I know I'm such an Alkie! Anyway, I'm not feeling great today...thank god it is a snow day and I'm not going to the office today. I am going to be AF tonight. BF is back in town and is coming over tonight. He drinks beer and I won't drink anything....he will probably think that is strange...I know how you feel Crown, about drinking and relationships...they are hard and the drinking can create big problems. BF is a beer drinker, but does not go overboard. I know he thinks I drink too much sometimes, but never really says anything.....can you say enabler????

I'm hoping that because I don't feel good that is the Nal working. All I can do is keep taking it when I know I'm going to drink.

Have fun on the slopes....stay as sober as you can!

No big deal...just keep practicing the protocol..naltexone + one hour = drink...yeah the hangovers are worse on naltrexone...might be a good thing...good reminder for the next time..LOL

Wow...slammed with snow! But AF last night. I have a feeling that maybe this is working and maybe I can really control it. It is still early for me, but I am feeling optimistic.

Hope all Nal takers are feeling the optimism! I was skeptical because I've tried Antabuse (scary drug), Topomax and Baclofen. I had bad reactions with all of them. Although when you start the Nal it doesn't feel like it is working for quite some time and it feels like you are wasting your time....all of a sudden, you start reducing your intake and even have AF days and you realize it has to be because of the Nal. Can it really be this easy???? Take one little pill one hour before you drink and little by little the cure will happen? It is also a relief because it takes a lot of the worry about trying to be AF and just being AF because you feel like it. I'm not explaining it very well, but it feels like a relief to me.

It is so uplifting to read stories of success.

I am anxiously waiting for the arrival of my Nal and can't wait to start TSM.
