                  Your blatness doesnt affect me brother...LOL Check out naltrexone and the sinclaire method to answer your orginal question. I also had no use for AA and really had no plan. Just wanted to get booze out of my life or under control. been working like a champ for me. also no medical supervision- didn't want alcoholism on my med records.

                  Your attitude is pretty amusing - you ask for help folks respond then you insult them.

                        Although I do believe Hartley is sincere in his admission of his problem, I believe that his posts have shown through his responses to a variety of suggestions offered that he is not prepared in any real way to address it.

                        His posts are now serving to bait only- and are not helping him or anyone who comes here looking for genuine assistance - which was offered to him here in many forms.

                        I would put forth that since responses are not welcome- maybe they should cease? My 02. I respect and value you all.

                          One last thing...............Any ordinary favor we do for someone or any compassionate reaching out may seem to be going nowhere at first, but may be planting a seed we can't see right now. Sometimes we need to just do the best we can and then trust in an unfolding we can't design or ordain.

                              Mario, you have such a heart of gold. :kissyface: I see Hartley was banned and I agree with that decision. At this point it may be better for Hartley to lurk, if so inclined, and not interact.

                                I feel very sad reading this thread and how it went...
                                While i dont condone Hartleys insults in any way I can see through them. He's not angry with any of us, he's furious and frustrated at the battle going on inside him.
