and do u still take on days you are trying to be
AF to help cravings?

Naltrexone dosage and use?

This is what I understand and have been doing (started on Nal last Fri). 25mg 1st day, one hour before you drink. 25 mg 2nd day, one hour before you drink. Thereafter, 50mg 1hr before you drink whenever you are going to drink. Always take your Nal no matter what. If you thought you weren't going to drink, and then can't handle it and decide to do so, take your pill and then try to wait the hour. You should always carry a pill!

No NAL should be taken on days when you will not drink. It is counter-intuitive but you actually SHOULD drink when you take NAL. It is part of the re-wiring process. Because of that, you don't want to take Nal to help cravings.

Ease has it right. Work up to 50mgs at least one hour before you drink, but we are all different, just get up to 50mgs when you feel able to cope with any side effects at 25mg. And you don't need to take it on the days you don't drink.
