      Hi mabelee,

Great to see you on MWO! I remember you from the TSM forum.

I did a quick search against 'titration schedule' (select Show Threads) on here and it found the following:

      https://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...ion-34919.html

And there were another 25 results from this search. Plenty of reading material.

A very warm :welcome: to MWO.

Thanks for the links Virgil...there is a lot of information on this site, that's for sure. It will take a while to mine it all out.

I took another 5 mg this morning at 9:00 a.m. and it's made me a little sleepy, but no other side effects. I slept very soundly last night and had to take a couple ibuprofen this morning because I had a headache from sleeping so hard. Taking ibuprofen is something I rarely do even with a hangover!

        So far, so good!

Also, thank you craving, for the support!

Yes, since I did see some reduction with Naltrexone, I plan on staying on that for at least a while.

there is no problem with using Naltrexone before drinking - in combination with Baclofen. In fact if you are still drinking that is a wise thing to do.

make sure you constantly up the Baclofen dose as you can - and do not reduce Baclofen until you hit the switch.

Today was a good day. I took 5 mg x 4 times (9 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m.). I am having no side effects (very happy about that ), other than a little drowsiness this morning. I was only going to take 3 doses today, but because I was experiencing no side effects I took a fourth. Last night I felt a little euphoria and I don't feel that so much tonight, just relaxation. I'm not sleepy in any way.

I'm new to all this - what is TSM??? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

mabelee -- great! my best advice is if you are committed, to take it slowly, but keep it up. It helps right away, but you want to avoid the side affects.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

                      Hi Funny Girl,

                      It's not a dumb question.

TSM is The Sinclair Method. Try googling "The Sinclair Method" and this will take you to a lot of websites that will fully answer your question.

I had another really good night's sleep last night and haven't slept this soundly in years. There is one side effect I'm noticing today, though. I'm a church organist and this morning while practicing for tomorrow's service I had a lot of trouble focusing my eyes on the music and notes were swimming all over the page. I hope it's better tomorrow! I was thinking about using the same schedule as yesterday, but might forego the 8:00 p.m. dose tonight so that I am clear headed tomorrow morning.

I took 15 mg on both Saturday and Sunday, continuing to sleep very hard. I'm going to go up to 20 today, 5 mg at 8:00 a.m., 10 mg at 1:00 p.m. and 5 mg at 5:00 p.m.

Before I started TSM I drank 6 - 8 drinks per night. After the first few months on Naltrexone, I came down to a consistent 4 drinks per night and could never get below that. The funny thing is, I get as woozy on the 4 as I did earlier on the 6-8, and if I ever go beyond 4 drinks I get a pretty good hangover. I've heard others have had similar experiences on Nal.

Well, last night I only had three drinks! Hopefully the bac will continue what the Nal has begun!

so TSM changed you in a 4 drinks maximum a night? That is great - so now let Baclofen do its magic! :goodjob:

it works!! 38 AF days and counting, and tip just celebrated his 6 months AF ... also because of Baclofen.

Just an update on my first week on Baclofen. This is my progress so far:

Day; mg of Bac; US units
                              Day 1; 10 mg; 4
                              Day 2; 20 mg; 5
                              Day 3; 15 mg; 5
                              Day 4; 15 mg; 3
                              Day 5; 20 mg; 4
                              Day 6; 20 mg; 3
                              Day 7; 25 mg; 2

Baclofen is doing what I hoped it would, and that is resuming the progress I initially had on Natrexone. I'm still taking Naltrexone every day. This is my lowest weekly total since starting Naltrexone in May.

Side effects: Sleeping VERY soundly, in fact I wake up in the morning quite stiff because I don't think I'm moving at night! But a cup of coffee and a hot shower take care of all that.
