60 AF days - thank you baclofen

    Hello guys,

Just wanted to say that I am celebrating 60 wonderfullest Alcohol Free (AF) days.

I want to thank everyone on this board, Ameisen and all the scientists that have worked with Baclofen and of course the biggest thanks to Baclofen itself. :thanks:

Baclofen has significantly changed my life. It has fixed a lot of things for me, and has motivated me into correcting myself in many ways. For me it is a miracle. :l

Yeah!!!! Craving!!! I am so freakin' happy for you!

I, too, have my real life now because of baclofen and this board (so many names I could list but I hope YOU know who you are! you are saving lives!) and Dr. Ameison.

And like you, Craving, baclofen has made me far more sane than just not drinking for three years ever touched.

        Onward!!!

        Thanks for your report.

thank you wagon, 8, hoping, red and tiptronic for your feedback.

it has totally changed my life (and yes it is an understatement!!!! :H). i could never imagine before a life without alcohol. now i am off alcohol for 60 days, and it feels so good. right now in withdrawal period of bupropion - no bupropion taken since Friday!

Anyone not having tried Baclofen should really give it a serious try. It has helped so many people.

whatever works yes!! and baclofen works amazing. by now it is the only medicine i can not live without!
i am done for now with alcohol. i sometimes drink an alcohol free beer - which has a little alcohol (less than 1%) and i love tiramisu. but all this just has very few alc % and is mainly declared dangerous to followers of AA.
i am currently in withdrawal of bupropion. once i am off all AD i want to test in how far i can enjoy 1 beer or 1 whisky/congnac - but thats still some time ahead!
i am right now on a new AD - and the same applies - any alcohol plus anti depressive can trigger lots of euphory. without the AD i would have never had problems with alcohol, so my hope is that after all AD are gone that maybe a big part of my alcohol prpblem is solved.

i am now at 100mg - and i am still searching for my supportive dose - ideally i am by next week at 75mg - thats what my psychiatrist wants me to reach - its good to have goals, if i can't make it, it won't be a problem for me neither..,
simply want to go down as much as i possibly can ...
