Olivier Ameisen
In addiction, suppression of symptoms should suppress the disease altogether since addiction is, as he observed, a "symptom-driven disease". Of all "anticraving medications used in animals, only one - baclofen - has the unique property of suppressing the motivation to consume cocaine, heroin, alcohol, nicotine and d-amphetamine"

Just report one of your own posts to contact a moderator.Having hit the switch, I now post under the username "bleep". Look forward to seeing you on the other side...

welcome,
I have been here on Mwo for 4years and I haven't seen anyone post about taking BAC while already sober. I have heard numerous reports about losing that " uncomfortable in your skin" disorder a lot of us struggle with.
I to reached sobriety with AA. great post by the way. rats with defects. hahaha. I thought I would be the first to take BAC while already sober but maybe you will. you have more sobriety than me and maybe are stronger. I am in fear of just wanting to drink like a normal man. that being said, there are so many on here that are truly indifferent because of BAC. good luck. gratitude
