Day 3 of Baclofen!

Hi everyone!
Day 3 of Baclofen and no real side effects but a bit of tiredness, heavy sleep and graphic dreams which im loving, (Could turn the dreams im having into a film!). Aside from that nothing. Going up to 60mg today, have the constitution of an ox so been able to go up quite fast. I imagine that once im up in the 100mgs then perhaps I will have other SE, but for the moment im OK. Not felt like drinking so far but could just be the placebo effect, who knows. Life just seems so much clearer when your not hung over each day, I just feel like im in the zone so to speak. When Ive stopped drinking before, its consumed my thoughts the whole time, some one told me that you can still have the thought processes of a drunk but not drink and I dont want that, whats the point! I guess its like white knuckling it.
Anyway, Im rambling. Love to hear from anyone with anything to say about this. Im so very excited about it all, this website especially!!

Hey Santy,
You are sounding fab....which is great! I know what you mean about the booze consuming your thoughts. It it so wonderful to be free of those. It is exciting to feel like you are doing something to gain back your control and that there is a real possibility that booze may no longer rule your life!!

Great to see that you are having positive early results. Keep up the good work. I had the special effect dreams early on also. I am currently up to 110mg a day but am taking it a bit slower as some undesirable SEs made their presence felt. I've been drinking but slowed it right down. I think staying of the booze is a better way forward. Well Done!

I was the same way, and let me tell you, this feeling you have? it doesnt go away. Each day you become happier and happier and thats when you realize that you do not "need" alcohol anymore and that you never want to touch it again. I wish everyone had a taste of this feeling. It is sooo much better than getting a buzz off of alcohol. Keep posting Santy, love to hear the success stories. Encourage others, keep telling them how great life is now.
