    Cowgal

I just saw this in General Discussion and since I know a number of members active on this forum do not visit General Discussion often, I thought I would re-post it here, much as I wish I wasn't doing this.

MaryAnne's (Cowgal's) best friend, VirgilCaine, posted this in General Discussion:

    Tally Cowgal

"I regret to tell everyone who knew MaryAnne that she died today. I couldn't reach her all day and she posted a "bye" message on her FB page. So I went to her apartment and then called 911. They had to bust down her door, but she was already gone. She succeeded this time I guess. I am going to miss my best friend terribly."
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

    So Sorry

Oh Lord, I am truely sorry to hear this. I have had some correspondence with Mary Anne and have always found her to be a great support and such a lovely person. This is awful news.

I am absolutely shattered by this news. I seldom post but I do like to keep up and read to encourage me. Cowgal was the one who stood out, who kept smiling and kept trying....I did not know her personally but I am so sad to hear this..really sad..but she will be in a better place now and all her troubles are now behind her.
She helped and encouraged so many..God Bless Her.

It's not just this disease that took her. depression is also a deadly enemy and many people who don't drink take their own lives - granted alcohol increases depression. To Cowgal's loved ones, my deepest sympathy.

I never met MaryAnne personally but had many phone conversations with her.
I am so sad that such a young woman could not find a way to continue her life.

                      RIP MaryAnne
