    new research on naltrexone.

I just read some new research on naltrexone published by Dr markus Heilig from the national institute on alcohol abuse and alcoholism on 14th May 2010. He has found that naltrexone only works on some people with a particular genetic variant. I am sorry I do not know how to post a link but perhaps someone else might do it so everyone could read it here? Its strange because yesterday I posted a thread asking could different drugs work on different alcoholic biotypes(no replies yet) and today I found this.

There were two things I found particularly interesting in this article. 1 that naltrexone works better in men than in women and 2 that it supposedly works better in the early stages of addiction. I didnt know that.
