    Natural Baclofen

Natural substances that work in the GABA system are :

    - L-Glutamine
    - L-Theanine

all will make you more calm and help with the withdrawal.

These are not as powerful as Baclofen sadly uch:
since 23. Apr 2009 : TSM - failed to reduce units
since 08. Jan 2010 : Naltrexone + Baclofen combination therapy
reborn since 16. Jan 2010 : Alcohol Free (AF) - only taking Baclofen
    since 22. May 2010 : Baclofen against anxiety/fear
    since 14. Mar 2011 : off Baclofen - taking 25mg Topamax/day

Dr. Amiesen talks about that. Baclofen has the same effect on the GABA B receptors as GHB, but is non-addictive.

This is a natural reaction to niacin at high levels. Like bac, niacin has to be titrated up.

The rash is is a result of the niacin opening up your capillaries, which is helpful in detoxing and in calming nerves.

You can also get "no flush" niacin, but I understand this is not as effective and is very hard on the liver.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Yeah, this was my problem with it. Whilst not an addictive substance itself it still has the sedatory effect of AL that most use AL for in the first place. I used to look forward to that floaty-drunk-warm feeling and thought it fantastic because it comes without a hangover. That's great but if you take too much of it then it can be quite serious(you will collapse wherever you are). Because I'd experienced taking too much awya from home and knew about the collapsing I would only take it at home therefore when out I would still want to drink. Complex issue.

Would GHB therefore be considered in the same boat as cannabis for it's use with AL problems?

I know GHB has a different action and works on the brain centres involved in AL addiction, but it could be said to be quite similar in it's seductive effects on the brain?

Rhodiola can help and licorice syrup in the morning along with Chromium. These were some things a naturopath recommended to me. I found this helpful and for a while I had Myers injections IV. You can see a natural doc. They help.
