trying to get back to normal on baclofen..
Has anybody stopped cold turkey, on baclofen and gone back to their normal dosage and still sufferd from withdrawls. Not as bad as the original, but still not right,. Doe's going on a higher dose help. Or are the symbtoms usually resolved on the original dosage? Ive been back on my original dose for 2 wk's but still dealing with mild to moderate anxiety, panic attacks, and extreme pressure on the sides of my head, and insomnia.. Also i have a question, is it ok to use low dose sleeping aid (i.e) lunesta, ambien. While on baclofen?? I Want to thank evrybody on MWO forums for their advice, and suggestions. I wish evrybody the best of luck....:thanks:Tags: None

Hi, controll
What were the circumstances under which you stopped cold turkey? Did you re-start using the same brand?
Are you AF or drinking? If the latter, how has your consumption changed over this period?
I'm just trying to get as much info before I (and others) speculate on why you're experiencing this...I'll do whatever it takes

trying to get back to normal on baclofen..
I stopped cold turkey because i had a night of heavy drinking, and was dealing with a nightmarish hangover, and was careless and took only 10mg. that day. Next day i decided to stop taking baclofen till i felt better. little did i know about tapering off. I was off it for 5 days. Went back on at 30mg. a day for over two weeks now. I have been AF, for 16 days.. I did stick to the same brand..

My understanding is that many sleeping meds can be combined with bac (depending on personal SEs).
I use zolpidem periodically with bac. It helps me deal with the agitation effects of higher doses. The main thing I notice is that it (zolpidem) seems to linger in my system much longer in combination with bac than it did pre-bac.Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
