Is it possible that Phoenix has hit the switch???

l-glut is just good all-round stuff. 15-20 grams per day seems to be the recommended dose by those in the know. I take 6mg in the morning, powder mixed with water. Tastes good, just a little sweet. I don't notice much effect until I stop it. I like it and take it together with amino acids. Always with an empty stomach and a little fruit juice. I recommend it highly.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I've been told that L-Glut is good for digestive issues or more literally "leaky gut". I'm in a family that loves supplements and holistic healing. They've all been singing it's praises and I'm finally on board with it as well.

This really has my curiosity piqued! If I could find a way to stop sleepwalking at 3:00 in the morning and eating every last bit of corn flakes in the house I'd be a very happy man.

          Re: Intermittent fasting

That's okay AS LONG AS you get a decent amount of calories. I have bare minimums that I have to hit based on my bodyweight, height and activity level. If you aren't getting enough calories then you'll end up looking like a holocaust survivor! But your body will let you know first by making you ravenously hungry so it's not that dangerous.

I 've got a quick question reguarding the l-glut.
I just started taking 1800mg capsule by sci fit once a day(sugar cravings have pretty much gone away,
and boy were they bad when I quit drinking 28 days ago), but my question is, I would love to get off the
antidepressants. Is there any correlation between this supplement and antidepressants?

              Copy-and-pasted from internet sites:

              General Health Benefits:

Promotes the maintenance of a healthy digestive tract.
May promote mental alertness and improve mood and memory.
May boost immune function and fight infection.
May decrease sugar cravings and the desire for alcohol.

L glutamine as a supplement may be helpful for the following:
              Gastro-intestinal disorders
              Depression
              Irritability
              Withdrawal support for alcoholics

              ---------------------------------

Personally, I take 5-15grams per day, mostly on blind belief. However, I do notice more cravings when I miss doses, or forget to take it for a couple days.

Regardless, I urge everyone to do their own research before they add any supplement to their diet. Any supplement, whether an amino acid or a vitamin or an herb -- anything can interact with other medications or affect pre-existing conditions.
