    one more question

    Hi all,
one more question on the topic: can I safely use Naltrexone and Topa? I have been reading many posts on the med subject in general but did not really find anything on this particular combination...I'd like to try them together but SE scare me...thanks.

Hi there Heart - me again - are you on the Topa and nal from a doctor? That would be the best place to ask. The amount of folk here on Topa isn't that high, but maybe one of them has tried Nal and Topa together. I haven't. Or you could try googling it - there are some web sites that deal just with med interactions. All the best -

Here's one (there are many others-- this just comes up first on a google search):

      Drugs.com | Drug Interactions Checker

It says about Topamax and Baclofen:

Moderate interaction alert. Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

I *think* topamax works on the GABA A receptor, while Bac works on the GABA B. Not sure about this-- it's just a guess based on my foggy memory.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
