Hey Dottie.

Star here, from over in the Newbies Nest. I don't usually post here, but have lurked here (a lot) and this is an AWESOME bunch of gals- I feel like I know them all. They have a wealth of information about topa and I have learned a lot from them and they will probably be able to answer all your questions, but I just wanted to let you know what I know about topa -because I have tried it and my experience goes along with the experiences I have heard on this site.

First of all, you can get it without a prescription, but when I ordered it online, it took about 2 weeks, at least for it to get here and it came from someplace like India, I believe (I live in the U.S.). The first time I used it, I actually got a prescription from a doctor for it.
You must start out very slowly. We can give you the dosing schedule if you decide to take it. The dosing schedule is in the MWO book too -if you have a copy of that. Any way, you start at a low dose and increase slowly. It seems to work differently for different people, like Sun said. For me, it worked well the first time I was on it. It took away the cravings completely and I did not have many side effects. Then I ran out and had to order some more. That?s when I ordered over the internet and it has never worked the same for me again. I think this is common, according to what I have read here. I also had more side effects after my first time of using it. I can answer more specific questions if you have any.

To all of the regulars here. Sorry for intruding on your special little site, but you all have taught me more than you could ever know and I feel as though I know each of you and really love you all. You gals rock! And besides, Dottie is my 12 day running mate over in the newbies nest. I tracked her down over here. Dottie- remember what Byrdlady says- that once you reach Day 13, you will feel like a different person. I hope so!

How sweet that you have been following us and feel as if you know us...... please feel free to join in ANYTIME !!!! yes I do feel that the others are awesome - it feels like family and this thread is one I can post on and feel safe on. Star - you are NEVER intruding when you post here - please - post more! Gosh - I would hate anyone to feel that they are intruding. Thanks, Sun! Actually, a few months back, when I was trying to use topa again, I started from the first post on this thread and read ALL the way through, believe it or not. So I have know you gals for years (Ha). I will post more here. Just trying to get on the straight and narrow now and not even using any meds. at all! Reading and posting helps so much! Hi Star and Dottie and a big, warm welcome here on the topa thread. Star I get Topa online and no I dont need a prescription, I just buy it, it takes about 2 weeks, I buy fron 4NRX they have a US and a UK site, each site has a place to direct you to the other if your on the wrong one. Topa has been great fo me, Im just relatively new to topa, I started taking it around a month or so and wouldnt change it for anything I am so glad I tried it.

OMG Star - how many weeks did that take ???? A little while ago, I was looking for something and started reading a part of the thread and got involved and ended up reading for a couple of hours!!! I feel sort of ashamed that if you have read from the beginning that you know how far I have come......... but I am not sure exactly what I want. I would really just like to go back to my one or two a night to be honest but am going through some tough stuff right now(I know - no excuse) but hope to get back to that again. I felt good when I did that and handled it just fine.

Thanks for the warm welcome, sun and space. It took quite a while to get thru all those posts but I was really and truly so interested to see that you all were having the exact same experiences with the topa that I had. It worked great for me the first time but has never worked the same since. I really really wanted it to do the trick for me this last time but for some reason it really won't amd in addition, I get really horrible itchy spots from taking it now. But really, I have learned a lot from your thread and I hope we can all help Dottie if she decides to use it. She had a really bad afternoon today but did great and made it through. She and I will be 13 days AF tomorrow!

Greetings Dottie and Star:h, we are so happy to have you here, please make this your second home (sounds like you are regulars on another thread and you are always welcome here, you can be part of our family:h. As far as Topa is concerned my advice is to make sure that you Never Run Out, it sometimes doesn't work the same way the second time around, now Space is another story because she panicked the first time after only a couple of days and stopped and is now back on it and is having wonderful luck with it.

Anyway, settle in here, it is a wonderful place.

I wouldnt change my topa experience for anything really.

Last night tho I had 3 cans, why ??? I am in a bit of a painc about it, what went wrong, I dont know if it was all the stress of the past week, or what. I didnt get back in from taking my daughter and her hubby home until around 6pm after also popping into see my mum. The doc has refferred me to s specialist by seemes convinced its fibromyalgia, so I have to just accept that, it ok, I already have the gabapentin and cocodamol for it anyway, so really it just getting a daignosis, with really I will be gratefull for. I also asked him about xenacal and he gave me a months supply to try it out, I took one last night and nothing nasty has ahppened as yet so I will just see how it goes, if I dont like it I can just stop taking it.

So I am still back to taking 25am 50pm and carrying on for a bit longer, with not going up as per scedule I got a bit lost so Im not sure where I am at. I am going to start and chart it in a book I think like WTE says, well I know whe had a spreadsheet or something but I will use a notebook. I am still taking supps, and L glut but its a different brand of L glut, maybe thats the problem, do you remember I was using the big one from Amazone for ?17 and then trying to save money got a smaller one from a weight lifting place for ?9. Next week when I get some money I will get the Amazon L glut again just in case it is that making a difference to me. I only just thought of that then.

RE: Plays advice make sure you never run out of topa, what I do is ... because I dont ususally have a large amound of money to spend on topa at any one time I get smaller order, but more of them. The place I but from gives free p&p for orders over ?30, so as long as the oders over that Im ok, and the still give me a bit of a discount for being a regular customer That way I dont have to break the bank, but hopefully I will never run out as I am always at least an order ahead.

Space - what dose are you on right now? You are back to the 25/50? How often do you take the L-Glut? Sorry about your three cans last night - after you having one, to have had the three must have been a shock for you, but you are really doing so well though.

Please be careful with the xenecal- and seriously, take extra knickers if you go out - LOL. I have heard some bad SE's from it !! Especially if you eat a large quantity of stuff with fat in it.

Play - good advice on not running out - you are our poster child for that

Star - I have never heard of getting itchy spots from the Topa - maybe you developed an allergy to it? Anyway you are doing really well on your 13 days - go you :goodjob: and so happy that Dottie made it through to day 13 too! It sounds like you are both really helping each other - that is lovely to see and what this forum is all about.

I need to start getting ready for work. Early shift today which will be nice at 3.30 this afternoon when I get off !!

I take the L glut around 3 times a day, but I will order some more of the Amazon stuff next week, Im not sure this stuff Ive got now is doing any good. And last night, I think it was just you know thenight after a lot of stress though the week with family, then it just stopped, I didnt even realised how much Id drank until I was on my third can and then thought about it so it was a bit of a shock.

Ichy spots does sound like an alergic reaction maybe, its possible it could have been something else even. Or an allergy to something in the pills a different brand may be ok.

I get ichy quite often but that is allegies to all kinds but only minor things like hayfever and stuff like that, but it rarely developes into a rash, if it does I just take antihistamines, I have had it all my life.

Space, if it wasn't for you and Play - and me now and then, this thread would be as dead as the killer thread. Although that is quite lively right now.

I am home from work and looking forward to my day off tomorrow. right now have all manner of plans although tomorow morning might not feel the same - LOL.

Space - I can't believe that the stuff from the body builder shop isn't as good as the stuff from amazon. I thought L-Glut was L-Glut. Are the ingredients the same? And yes, I am sure it was just the stress of the family - stress does funny things to our bodies. You really are doing so well, I really wouldn't worry too much about it. You are doing way better than me.

I get itchy too and will take an anti-histamine but have to take a non drowsy one - if I even look at one that says it makes you drowsy I am asleep for 16 hours! I have ripped my arms raw from scratching and this time of year is bad for me for the itching. So it has to be allergies. Years ago I had the allergy testing and then started allergy shots but then got pregnant so they kept me on the same dose for the pregnancy - my daughter is now allergic to the same stuff - LOL. Then we moved to America and I never started them again.

How is the xenecal going space ? I do worry about you taking that stuff........

I really need to go and iron - have a couple of things that I have recorded that I can watch - it is the only time that I watch TV - when I iron, so am going to go and start !!

Oh My God, I forgot to tell everyone about the most exciting weight loss thing, Space please throw out that Xenecal stuff, it is nasty, anyway, back in a few, and this stuff is cheap and safe, and recommended by our "genius pharmacist Chinese herbal " guy that brings our RXs everyday, he is a genius and whips up these things for the residents in addition to the regular RXs from the docs, READY? Ok, I have to get the bottle to see the name, back after a bite to eat, oh I've been meaning to tell you and I'm going o try it this week, Space will send yours this week, and it's good for diabetics.
