It has given me mega awfulness over the last week.

I have been on about 90mg a day, with some PRN doses for months. And really well controlled.
I got this new Baclofen, from my long term supplier, and it sent me totally insane.
I find it hard to describe, for many reasons.
Same dose. 30mg three times a day. Not very much at all.
Hallucinations - visual, smelly
Weak limbs - dropping cups
Nightmares - like you wouldn't believe
Itching and sweating in a way you couldn't understand unless you felt it. Like bugs under your skin.
No booze at all.
I thought that you should know.

You say that you have baclofen from your regular supplier, is it the same brand?

I've shared some suspicion (with others on this forum) that different brands of baclofen may have different potencies and different side effects. I began my baclofen therapy using Fexobac from GenPharma in India through 4rx.com then switched to a combination of Fexobac and a US filled prescription of IVAX baclofen, to solely IVAX baclofen. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two (very different) brands.

Other than that, could you have any excretory issues that are causing your body to void baclofen too quickly or slowly? Kidney infection? Or any new drug interactions?

With the exception of itchy skin, I've had all of the other side effects that you describe at various times; severe when I titrate up too quickly (especially electric shocks to hands and dropping things) - most severe (especially visual/auditory hallucinations) when I titrate down too quickly (220mg+ down to 80mg in 2 days). My sense of smell has been heightened through the whole experience to an unpleasant degree (good things smell normal, bad things smell terrible and lots more seems to smell bad). Others on this forum have described "overdoses" caused by substituting one (mostly foreign made) brand of baclofen for another. From How High Dose Baclofen Cured My Alcoholism:

ABOUT OVER DOSES

The first over dose occurred at 210mg/day after I had been on 210 for several days. Instead of making up my 80mg early afternoon dose out of my usual 2 - 25mg(from 4rx) and 1 - 20mg(from prescription) and 1 - 10mg(from Inhouse), I used 4 of the 20 mg prescription pills. That is why I said earlier that I believe the prescription med is stronger than the online. I would suggest that we be very careful when changing our sources and always err to the safe side (I should have taken 3 instead of 4 of the prescription pills since I had heard others say they were stronger). With the second OD I don't really know what happened, it may be that I was dosing up too quickly at those high doses. In any case of an OD, all I know to do is ride it out. Whatever you do, I would wait at least 12 hours before taking another dose of Bac and I would drop back to 75-80% of what you were taking for a day or two then start back up when you are ready. That's just a suggestion - based on my experience - no hard data.

I just felt that Phill's idea was to make this athread to compile information rather than to analyse his case. My apologies, I think I may have started of on the wrong foot in this forum, my first btw. I am an alcoholic and often we tend to rub people up the wrong way, I think this is a trait that many of us are prone to.
Anyway back to the original thread: I really don't know much. I've been taking Bac for about 2 weeks and can't draw any conclusions yet. Only I can say that a few days before I started I bought 100mg of Lioresal after having read about Dr A and assuming that it was all hot air devoured 90mg with a large quantity of alcohol. For several days after I could't remove the thought from my head that this mirical snake oil might actually have some merit. Therefor decided to give it a more serious chance.
