    sylvia 1 progress

Ive posted here a few times. I ve been on tsm for about 7 months now with some good progress. However the last two weeks have shown a big turnaround. Im now having 4 or 5 days al free which Im very happy about. I can finally keep alcohol in the house without obsessing about it or wanting to drink it.

I went to an event last night and left having had just two drinks, this has never ever happened to me before. I know most people in this forum have found great success with Baclofin but I just want to encourage anyone who is at the early stages of tsm to have faith in the process and not to give up.

Sylvia, I'll bet this post will be a lot of help to other people trying TSM. Thanks for posting. : )

        Hi Gyco,

TSM is an abbreviation of The Sinclair Method. It involves taking 50mgs of naltraxone one hour each and every time you drink alcohol. Naltraxone blocks the reenforcing endorphines that are released in the brain each time you drink and over time units and frequency of alcohol use decreases.

If you are interested there is another forum thesinclairmethodforum.com where you can get all the information you could need on tsm. There are some great people over there who will help with any questions you might have.

If you want to know anything specific that Ive not said here please pm me. Ive spent a lifetime trying to beat this disease and would be more than happy to help anyone on their way.

        All the best

        Sylvia
