I know someone has done this

Okay Canadians really...I know some of you out there have used Dr. Levin and have shipped your script over the boarder...I really just need to know how(did you wrap it as a gift--or leave it in your perscription bottle...???---did you ever have it stopped at the boarder?).

I am sooooooo close to getting baclofen to help me quit drinking....this is the last piece of the puzzle.

You can leave me a private message if that would be easier for you....I just really need help on this one last think.

    Desperate for information,

    Wonka

      Wonka,

Why don't you use River Pharmacy? They are expensive but they're right in Canada. You don't need a script. I've been happy with the Baclofen I've gotten from River and am now AF because of it (60 mg) per day. River uses the regular postal service. They can ship things to you Express Mail if you need it. FedEx doesn't ship meds Good luck to you!

Wonka I am not sure what you are asking? I live in Toronto and have ordered both bac and topa from overseas. sometimes it gets through and sometimes customs takes it.
In truth I have stopped ordering because more and more pharmacies will not ship to Canada. I used eshoprx who were great but do not now stock Topa. Goldpharm does not ship to Canada where I got the Bac. River or any of the Canadian pharmacies do not ship to Canada. Must to do with their license. If you have a friend going to Mexico you can purchase Topa there no problem. PM me if you like I hope I can help. Sid

          Hi Rusty & Sidney,

It is impossible getting on-line phamacies to ship to Canada. I just check-out River Pharmacy and they won't deliver to Canada...thanks for trying to help though.

Let me know if you have any other ideas,

I've had no problems order from this place in NZ to the US, Wonka. Give that a try. Not sure if they carry bac, but I got topa there a couple of months ago.

              Wonka,

I just clicked on the Inhouse link-thanks, Pride! It looks like they carry Baclofen....it's under Pain Control.

                Wonka,

This is what I did for a friend here at MWO. I had River ship me the Baclofen and then I mailed it to my friend. Maybe you know someone in the US who could order it for you and then ship it to you?

                  Hi Wonka

The way we did it was to get the prescription from Dr Levine - then we have a sister in Vancouver who picks it up in Bala Washington and drives with it over the boarder, then ships it to us in Toronto.

That was the only way we could come up with because we couldn't find a pharmacy that would ship it direct over the border. But if you know anyone who can pick it up and mail it across that might work.

Do you live close to the border by chance?

I know someone has done this

I'm gonna weigh in here, as meds are something that I would want available to me if my current path proved to be a failure. So here goes, I'm going to think out loud. If anyone has any insight to lend to this, please jump in!

The first thing I think about with having a friend ship anything to you (or me) is: what laws are they breaking, if any? Would it be smuggling???!!! That would be bad. Would the law being broken be different if you did it for yourself? What I mean is, could you pick up the prescription (somewhere in the States), and mail it to yourself? Would that be a different infraction? Or what if you picked the filled prescription up, the one made out to YOU by DOCTOR Levin (for instance), and brought it back across the border as YOUR OWN prescription. Would that be different?

I'm just thinking out loud, of course, but smuggling sounds bad, while attending to your own medical needs sounds okay. I mean, Canadians go Stateside all the time for medical procedures, correct?

I really hope there is a way around this for you, for myself at some possible point, and for other Canadians. It seems a bit unfair that one possible route is blocked for us...
