    Sobriety. Whatever that is.

Glad you have the flexibility to do that, 37. And very glad you have a sense of humor. Much needed in the bac threads.
I'm a fan of cheer leading. Minus the uniforms and pom-poms. Wouldn't wear them well.
but the warm fuzzies? yes. A pat on the back, etc... goes a long way.
hope it's a good one fellow bac takers and all!

Not sure if a couple of months would be enough.

I've been on the Bac for more than 2 months now. Now at 240mg and feel that I'm near the switch but can't say I'm there yet.

I wasn't going to do this but I will. That is try to give advice when my head is befudled with Baclofen and new ideas.
But from my experience: I would have some time of ready and then start your Bac journey while working. If the SEs become too much then you can then use the time off work that you've got coming to you

I've also been wondering, if anyone has any input:
Are the SEs detrimental to the effect we are looking for, or are they just an inconvenience

        Ig2: What's this post about?
Ig1: Nothing important only to point out that the new avatar seems appropriate now. Represents a handful of Baclofen about to surprise my brain.
        Ig2: That's it?
Ig1: And a suggestion to the moderators that the avatars are kept date specific because they represent our mood at that specific time

Firstly to give up alcohol was suicidal desperation.
To give up the nicotine was sheer determination and not wanting to be controlled by some chemical

Switched at 180mgs of Baclofen on 1/31/11, and again on 10/8/11 at 200mgs.

Good advice about trying BAC before taking the time off work, but I'm self-employed and have to plan my schedule some weeks ahead.

To those of you with SE's of significant somnolence, inattentiveness, and inability to concentrate, how do you get through a typical work day?

Also self employed. Basically: clear important/can't be rescheduled, appointments for a few months.

Frankly couldn't have got this far if I had to Turn up at 9 o'clock. tip my hat to the boss, play office politics with coworkers etc. Lol to those who have, do, can!

Sorry in advance to anyone offended by this one. It just seemed the logical honest progression, in some respects.
