This goes out to some strident 'wimin' that I met in chat the other day. One of whom thinks that corn on the cob is better sterilized than boiled. LOL

Looks good from here, but bigger doesn't always mean better

Spidey reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite, the dance number that he does at the end of the movie. :danthin:

By the way, sometimes bac does make the 9-5 really difficult, mostly when I go through the somnolent periods (which thankfully is not every day). I was in an incredibly boring conference call (which unfortunately IS almost every day) and barely kept my head from hitting the keyboard as I started to nod off. Chewing minty gum seems to give a quick perk up, and also helps w/that weird feeling of dryness and congestion that bac tends to give me.

                            But seriously:

But then again: first this goes out to any one who thought this was really me LOL

                            I don't have any hair

OK. I am actually getting flabby. Haven't stopped drinking yet but nearly. Such a reduced consumption of alcohol usually means I lose weight and get lean. I've gone abstinent enough times before to know what to expect. Although not abstinent, I've gone from about 5 bottles of whiskey a week to about 1 and 1/2.

Initially I was shedding the extra layer but now I've started to put it back on. Its not the same, now its actually flabby fat that wants to droop down rather than a layer over the whole body.

I've decided to reduce the sugar in my morning coffee but I was always quietly proud of my lack of middle age spread and am now quietly (internet doesn't count) worried Is it here to stay, am I going to have to be vigilant about it or will it go when I taper down of Bac.?

The trouble is that as we age, our body changes and doesnt quite "spring back" as it used to.
Exercise would probably turn this around for you.

I hear that but did age just catch up with me in the last 2 months since I've cut down drinking?

Is alcohol the elixir of youth? Tell me NO. But whats happening master.
