Why baclofen reduces libido in men...

I'm seeing a bit of boost but still on a relatively low dose. Still a "bit of a boost" is quite something for a post-menopausal woman.

Guardian, have you looked into Viagra or one of those? I don't know if there would be an interaction between that and the baclofen. Also, Wellbutrin (Bupropion) has a reputation for increasing libido. Again though, you probably want a doc on board before mixing those sorts of things with the bac.

I'm considering it. The real problem is my libido. If I have no desire, I would think it would be very difficult or impossible to reach climax. I could go on TRT, but that may not resolve the problem with desire. From my brief search, I can't find any evidence that baclofen deleterious effect on the testicular axis, quite the opposite. So, adding exogenous testosterone to the mix isn't going to help. And even if that did fix the problem, it would reduce my sperm count to nil.

                      I think it's a case of SE's (brain fog) being a bitch.

I'm not sure who that was directed at. But assuming it was me, do you really think it necessary to pile it on?

If you are referring to me, it's not brain fog, it's sarcasm.

Terry, of course I wasn't referring to you!

Guardian, yes I was referring to you. I wasn't trying to "pile it on" but to offer a reasonable (and probably very real) explanation of how the goof happened. Lighten up already.

Not sure how smart it is of me to step in the middle of this, but I thought that this was a very light hearted comment. Basically explaining away the goof of thinking the original article was about baclofen by insinuating that it was the bac that caused the mistake. Basically like saying, "Hey, don't give guardian a hard time, it's just the bac affecting his brain, tee hee". :H

And I guess the bac is affecting my brain too, because I was too confused with all of the scientific jargon to realize that the article wasn't about bac!

Can't we all just get along? :l
