    Urgggg!! The Side Effects!!!

Update: After a month of 50mg, I changed my dosing to only evenings, and can now say all the worst SEs are gone like the snoring, congestion, dizziness, mental confusion, severe daily fatigue that was killing my career.

I'm concerned that I have little bac in my bloodstream all day long, but I do feel well enough to move up from the 50mg tomorrow. Don't want to do it today because I'm totally hung over.

That's what I ALWAYS did. 175-300 mgs of bac in one pop at like 2pm and it worked great for me for like 9 full months.

It's a little more complicated now, for unrelated reasons, and I haven't quite figured it out yet.

You can do that if you want. I know, it worked for me. Are you a nighttime only drinker, like I was (mostly)?

I don't know how you guys do it. On occasions where I have increased my dose from 30mg's to 40mg's, I have felt incredibly stoned. I would be a dribbling idiot if I dropped 300mg's in one hit.

          Urgggg!! The Side Effects!!!

I'm on the same page, bleep.

Lo0p, I think you had a fairly easy road of it, maybe because you're young, maybe because you went up so fast? It took me a month at 50mg to feel safe driving. Now I'm at 80, doing better, but I had to wait til I was "safe" to raise my dose and still function. Believe me, I'd much rather get this over with and go fast.

Alot of us have been drinking for 25 years or so, and our bodies just can't take what they could at age 30. It's a huge difference in everything, the age, and personally I've always had a difficult experience finding hypertensives that didn't give me side effects like incredible facial flushing (I turned PURPLE giving presentations, and it completely side tracked the conversation because they thought I needed hospital), extreme somnolesence, which is funny considering bac's famous SE for that. So I am on bac and three BP meds, so that accounts for some variety of blood chemistry in me. What really concerns me is that bac can increase BP. That's another reason I can't titrate up fast, I could have a stroke.

I know you think most people would do better going faster, but I think everyone's situation, body, chemistry is different.
