Does anyone know if having a local anaesthetic at the dentist will have a reaction (that I should know about) with topa. I'm on 300mg a day. I know you should tell your doctor if you're going to have a general anaesthetic so I was wondering about the other kinds of anaesthesia (obviously it has an effect on alcohol!)

Topamax and Dentist
I take Topa and have never mentioned specifically that I am on Topa - there is always the form that you fill in though that asks you what meds you are on, so assuming he would look at that - it is on there. I can't imagine that a local would have any effect. Just my opinion though. (have to put that to cover myself!! LOL).
