Re: Progress thread for ne
Hi y’all. It’s been far too long, I know. I was bitten by a bit of nostalgia today and thought I’d stop by to see what was going on.
Great to see the incredible outpouring of support for the fundraising. And huge kudos to the people who have cleaned this place up and kept it cleaned up.
Nice, too, to see so many familiar names continuing to offer support, too. Sad that it’s isolated to some areas, but understandable too.
Just realized as I’m writing this that the nostalgia was probably prompted by an article I read about Burning Man a couple of days ago. ha. Please forgive the inside joke for those of you that haven’t been around for a thousand years. RIP Evan.
I’m titrating up on baclofen again. Tried too many things and been through too much to even want to try to begin a recounting of it here or any where else, now or later. Bottom line is that I once again find myself unable to understand how people can get and stay sober, much less abstinent, without miraculous intervention. For me that miracle was baclofen, and I am counting on it to be again. Maybe.
Ugh. I’ll regret posting this but I’m going to do it anyway. And sometime soon go searching around to find the latest posts from my old peeps. (Looks like the search engine isn’t any better in this latest incarnation, is it? 😉
(Let me not pass judgment, I haven’t tried hard.) And catch up on some of the threads up there in the General Discussion areas. I did read some of the latest from the Nest. You guys rock for keeping it going. You know who you are.
