    11 months

Today is 11 month marker of my abstinence. as you all say "good on me". One more month and "poof" (what happens at a year?). What a year. Recovered from alcohol addiction and lost 48 pounds (exercise, diet and no booze)!

                You are an inspiration!
Indifference is in your future with Baclofen. It works!

My frustration with Baclofen, which is shared by Dr. Oliver Ameisen, is that because Baclofen is an off patent medication there is no profit motive for drug companies to support clinical trials that would demonstrate its efficacy in treating addiction.

:goodjob: Yes! Yes! and a big pat on the back! it's stories like this that make people like me come back for more! just a drifter on this 'community' and decided to post today after reading your wonderful news. Have hit the big 12 myself two months ago. What a wonderful time it is for us to find a way out of the dark and into the light on Bac. I salute Dr. A for sharing his discovery. It's been a bumpy ride for me with SEs but now on 20mgs daily (in 4x5mgs). Went up to 60mgs before hitting the mark over 2 months and slowly downed the dose. Looks like slowly but surely this works! Thanks also to all who share their journey on here - worth so much to all who visit the site. :l:l:l Lego
