Say, Mr. Fields, I read in the paper where you consumed two quarts of liquor a day. What would your father think about that?
    WC: He'd think I was a sissy.

If you mean for MOD for moderation then campral isn't recommended. Campral is a low side effect, non-dependent and extremely safe medication which is probably why your Doctor really likes it.

You need to be abstenant for it to have any effect but it's thought to assist with cravings in a very subtle way.

i was prescibed campral a year ago for abstinence, not moderation and was a week sober before prescription. i cant say i found it much help, i certainly didnt feel any significant changes in cravings. i did manage 3 wonderful months sober but then relapsed and havent managed to get back to any signigicant AF time since. the only side effect i had was bloating and diarroeah. not pleasant but tolerable. as uk said im pretty sure it is not for abstinence not moderation.
Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

        Hello,
there is another thread on this which is slightly longer https://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...ral-47335.html so perhaps we should all be on the one thread?
