First off, that was football you were watching. Where I'm from, we call rugby, football. Where you're from you call american football, football. The difference between us is that I make allowances for those of different cultures and countries to my own ie I'm not Amurrican:H. And the other difference is I don't consider soccer kickball to be a real sport.:H:H:H But that's by the by.

I've played both Rugby and American Football and I can assure you American Football is physically the much easier to play. Apart from the fact you are only on the field for very short bursts in American Football (in Rugby you're on for 2 x 40 minute sessions without break), the body armour (not pads lol) and helmets make it a much softer impact sport. It looks a lot more physical, but it really ain't. It's a spectacle, a show. Rugby is war. Just sayin'.

Petey, I was wondering what sort of perverted Google search phrase you had to use in order to find that image. Then I did a tineye search and found it is only located on one server in the whole world.
