Murph’s Baclofen (or should that be BacloFUN) diary

I agree with you bruun cuz it's been said that:

"There was a newspaper in England which ran the headline "Half of Americans are Idiots"

    Oh, wrong thread

    Not offended but rather amused:yeahthat:

Well, I can report that after a few days of boozing, the bac has kicked back in and is again doing its thang. No drink today and absolutely no desire for any. It really is amazing that I've been able to return to 'normality' so quickly.

Eeee this baclofen stuff ain't half bad!

The boozing, while it lasted, was unpleasant. It wasn't like before. I didn't enjoy it. Weird, but true. I have absolutely no desire to try that nasty little experiment again.

Thank you all for your support and the laughter, although it was quite difficult to explain to my wife, when she came over to see what I was laughing at, why there was a picture of a spotted cat with his knob out on my screen. "I was trying to explain to them about spotted dick. I think they found the name amusing. Some of them are Americans. They don't get spotted dick over there. I know, I feel sorry for them too.". And also why I was reading a forum called "My Way Out"..."No dear, it's not about suicide. No honestly, I'm fine. No, I'm not feeling suicidal. It doesn't mean that, it's...oh just stop bothering me and go make me a sandwich woman." And that's when she punched me in the back of the head. Don't mess with Mrs Murph, she's surprisingly violent when riled.

There aren't any emoticons for a good or a . I did both.

I'm very glad you found the equilibrium again. And I love Mrs. M.

Did she see the piccies of kitten heels and the hat? That might really set off her alarm bells. I'm going to figure out how to post pix tonight and have one in store for you!

It's Terry Thomas. He was an English comic actor from the 1960s, best known for his portrayal of upper class bounders and cads and being shockingly un-PC, even in a time of shocking un-PCness. As a kid I loved his films. He retired in the 70s and I heard no more about him until he was found dying in a nursing home in the late 80s, alone, unknown, unrecognised and penniless. Very sad that someone who brought so much happiness and laughter should slip in to obscurity when he needed us most. Anyway, there is a happy ending. When the news got out, actors and entertainers jumped in to action and put on a benefit gala to raise money for his care. He was moved to a better nursing home. He died a year later, but he was no longer alone and never forgotten. At the end of the day that's all any of us can hope for.

NO!!!! Apparently the whole world doesn't revolve around me and I should get off my lazy arse and do things for myself. Yeah right, like I believe that.

I'd highly recommend them Tracy. The one I own is usually really quite splendid and worth every penny.

Tracy it's 2011, there's nothing stopping you from getting one of your own you know.

Well, I'd only one want to bring me sandwiches and stuff. And think my husband might object. Or maybe not! :H

I'm on v1.0 myself, and like Murph, I highly recommend them. Although my model, like Murph's is faulty, and doesn't make sandwiches.

omg, I want one too! I'm not willing to spare the expense though. I work too damn hard for the money! :H

Plus, I think she'd have to be pre- or postmenopausal. Two of us in the same home hormonal at the same time with only one man to mediate (and he's drinking to boot) is more than the bac-mellow can deal with...
(omg, did I just say that? egad, Murphy, you are rubbing off on me!)
