I fear this "training" thing is a myth, or only seems to work in reverse. I need to be careful, I realise.

I have always had a tendency toward the dark side. With a lot of polly-anna-lalalalala everything-is-lovely going on. I think you can relate murphy the-lumber-jack-tree-hugger...
As to the training... perhaps it would be more amenable to have a house-husband than take on a wife. I know how to train the former pretty effectively, after all.

Murph & Bleep-
Check out this article.
Married men be warned – being happier than your wife could end in divorce - Telegraph
Moral of the story: Better you boys start bringing sandwiches (or preferably bon-bons) to your wives than waiting for them to serve you.

I don't think we should be making jokes on this thread anymore. Or talking about good side effects and certainly not about libido changes. That sort of thing upsets people. In fact we shouldn't even be "blogging" or talking about our own journey. We should only list the negative side effects so ... nahhhh, bollocks to that, I'm feeling all loved up today and randy as hell and if someone doesn't like that, they can fuck right off.
Bruun: hmmmm, doing things for my wife eh? That's an odd concept, I'll have to give that some thought. :H

hmmm. you're feeling loved. you're ego has been well stroked (because you are in fact both brilliant and thoughtful. that is sincere.)
You're randy.
I can think of something or two you can do for your wife. And she might just make you a sandwich later.
I know I would.
Oh. wait. no funny business around here today. Does that include no funny business? I don't think I could take that. The bac demands a sacrifice. or two. or three. A day.

According to many surveys, women are much more into physical intimacy with their partners if their partners vacuum the house without being asked.
As to threads going off topic, that's when they get reinvigorated, and get our creative juices going, and keeps everyone interested. Talking all day long about the ups and downs of AL and bac and nothing else makes Murph a dull boy. If that could at ALL be possible.
I know if that was a rule, I wouldn't be here.

UK, there's just nothing anyone can do. Admin doesn't respond to much . . .
We are trying to get stickies (post that stay parked at the top of the forum. Please vote in Tip's poll for that if you think it would be useful:

The other thing being pursued is a forum just for baclofen (nothing to do with MWO). It's just starting and there isn't a lot of info yet:

I'm not sure that it's right to tell people what to write in their personal threads UK. I really appreciate all the people that invest their time and energy in making us aware of research and articles but sometimes I just need more. Like a great big belly laugh. Variety is the spice of life and there are lots of personalities on here and lots of ways of coping with the hard stuff. Like humor.
For example, when I come here I expect to not only read about baclofen but also spotted dicks, flaccid dicks, oral sex with animals, tofu loving men, and the the possibility that Murph may love a good handbag as much as I do. I don't see an issue with it. If I don't want to read it, I don't have to. And I would never blame him for loving a good handbag or a great pair of shoes.
On that note, we that write the personal style blog threads, won't be hurt if people don't want to read it. In fact, we won't even know. That's what's great about MWO. You can read what you want to and ignore what you think is bs.This Princess Saved Herself

UKblonde, usually when you make a post complaining about the way others? posts have made you feel, people fall over themselves to sympathise with you. They apologise and empathise. They bend over backwards to make you feel loved and wanted. That's the incredible thing about MWO, and I am talking about the meds section (I've had a look at the general section and people were talking about getting help from their angels and goddesses and other weird shit). Here people go out of their way to make sure you feel a part of the community and that they'll do anything to help you. I've seen people do that for you again and again and again, but you just don't seem to want their friendship. Don't worry though because I won't be offering you that. I don't think there's any point.
On the "meds and MWO" thread you said:
I wanted to hear the nitty gritty, and without having to dig through pages and pages of random posts about someone's life. Then why the hell are you reading this thread? It's all you're going to find here, well that and random pictures of stimulated cats. So the only reason you're reading this is to gather more ammunition for your point of view? More reasons to hate the med threads? Why bother? Does that help you? Well OK, if that works for you so be it, but if you?re trying to change the way the rest of us operate, you?re tilting at windmills.
Ukblonde;1075273 wrote: The trouble is that when someone is struggling laughing about it isn't always the best way, and can make that person feel as if their concerns are just being dismissed. That could push a person to either stop baclofen or do something daft.
Suggesting other people?s posts make you want to top yourself (you?ve said that twice in the last day) is quite unforgivable. It doesn?t mean shit to me because I know what you?re doing, but there are other people here, kind people, people who really do care about you who?ll be dreadfully upset by that. And you know it and that?s why you said it and that?s why you?ll get no sympathy from me.
Carry on sitting in the corner like the self-obsessed, angry goth teenager, saying increasingly bizarre things in order to elicit a reaction from the adults or engage with the people here as an equal. Share your thoughts, but listen to what others say and accept they?re different to you and embrace the difference or carry on the way you?re going and force yourself apart. To be honest I couldn?t give a shit which path you take, sorry but you?re not the centre of my universe.
